Here are some vibrant images, found online, that inspired the visual direction of the recent official IAMX music video I Come with Knives.
A mood board if you will.

My Dear Friends,

How the fuck are you all?
A quickie….In my post album completion silence I started taking a few sloppy pictures of whatever stimulated. It began in Animal Impulses tour rehearsals.

Video Journal #4 – ‘Berlin Studio And Special Guests’

Posted in Video Journal, Words from Chris on August 3rd, 2012 by Chris Corner

My Children.

As you well know it is unusual I work with other people on my music. I am generally an egocentric introvert with masses of self love and self loathing in equal measure so I must say I was shitting my load over collaboration. But the process has been a refreshing revelation. Rather than being paranoid and defensive over my babies, my time recording in Berlin has plumped me up like a previously withering recently watered flower. Once over the hurdle of exposing raw material and demos to other professionals it very quickly became one big funny family with a common goal.

New friends and old friends are involved in this album and the work is ongoing. There may be a few surprises in the video journals, unexpected faces, snippets of tracks that may or may not make it onto the final record and the usual IAMX calamity, but I implore you not to be infected by demo-itis and get attached to what you hear. You are hearing and seeing things that would never usually be heard or seen so…..
